Nash’s Natural Brewing Company makes kombucha served on draft using only certified organic ingredients. Brewed locally in the greater Sacramento area, our product is raw, unpasteurized, gluten- and dairy-free and vegan. Co-founders Sean Nash and Claire Dunlap started by home brewing kombucha, then moved into a commercial kitchen and began distributing it by the keg and bottle. We also built a mobile draft system that allows us to sell kombucha by the cup at local farmers markets. We love sharing our kombucha with people and businesses throughout California.
We are Sean Nash and Claire Dunlap, and we learned how to brew kombucha while going to college in Santa Cruz, CA. Claire started brewing for her family and friends, and started experimenting with alternatives to the traditional taste that most kombuchas offer. From then on, we were on a mission to make a friendly kombucha that more people could enjoy. In the spring of 2014, we found it – a non caffeinated, sweet and herbal, blissfully mellow brew. Using organic herbs, teas and dried fruits, never using juice, our kombucha can be appreciated and enjoyed by kombucha fans of all ages.
We soon started selling our kombucha on tap at local Northern California farmers markets. Because we’re always keeping the earth in mind, we found that distributing kombucha in 5 gallon kegs was the way to sustainably bring kombucha to the people, then later began using glass bottles that can be recycled forever, saving resources and keeping them out of landfills. Catering to taprooms, breweries, restaurants, and grocery stores, Nash’s Kombucha can be found in the greater Sacramento and Sierra Nevada Foothills region as a non-alcoholic, craft brewed beverage to enjoy at home or while out.
